Body in hill is that of Hasher

SANDAKAN: A highly decomposed body found beside a stream in the Trig Hill area on Tuesday has been confirmed to be that of 72-year-old Lo Yin San, who went missing in the hilly forest two weeks ago.

He was identified based on his dental records and his car keys which were in the shorts he was wearing the day he went missing.

OCPD Assistant Commissioner Rosli Mohd Isa said police had allowed the family to claim his body for burial although they were still waiting for the DNA report.

He added that a post-mortem did not provide a conclusive cause of death. Police, however, have ruled out foul play.

Lo, a a well-known figure and retired businessman, went missing while putting up markers for his Hash House Harriers run at the Trig Hill on Dec 6.
